Pratyabhijñāhṛdayam (The Secret of Self-recognition) is a text of Kashmir Shaivism. Kashmir Shaivism throws much light on the spiritual experiences and teachings of Sri Ramakrishna as well as subjects like mantra, mantra Shakti etc.

Jiva is Siva. However, by identifying himself with his body-mind complex, the Jiva has forgotten his real spiritual nature. This teaching is meant to enable the Jiva to attain at-one-ment with SIVA through spiritual disciplines and divine grace.
