Blessings and Public meeting

  • Predawn: Maori blessings of the land (starting around 5.30 am)
  • 6.15 am:  Meditations
  • 9-11 am:  Vedanta blessing ceremony (Puja and homa)
  • 12 noon: Lunch
  • 1.30 pm: Public meeting: The mission and vision of the wellbeing program at Vedanta Retreat
  • 3.30 pm: Afternoon tea
  • 7pm: Evening prayers and meditations

Spiritual Retreat

  • 5 am:  Morning Meditations
  • 9-11 am: 1st session: Vedanta perspective of the mind and its management
  • 11 am: Tea Break
  • 11.30 am: 2nd session: Maori spirituality and other holistic perspectives of wellbeing
  • 1pm: Lunch
  • 2 pm: 3rd Session: Meditation-based approach to mental wellbeing
  • 4pm: Tea Break and Bush walk
  • 7pm: Evening prayers and meditations
